They have 50 injection molding machines and expertise with engineering-grade resins. Sanmina Turtle Lake has long standing business partnerships with both tool designers and manufacturers. This is an ITAR facility and applicants must be a US Citizen or a lawful permanent resident.- We are seeking a motivated Manufacturing Intern to join our team for the summer.
- 4• and 6-axis robots), automated cells, and manual processes Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on cycle time reduction, scrap reduction, and uptime improvement Help develop and update work instructions, process documentation, and standard operating procedures Collect and analyze production data to identify trends and improvement opportunities Assist with equipment validation, testing, and runoffs for new or modified automation systems Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, quality, and maintenance Support preventative maintenance and reliability improvements for automation equipment Education and Experience Currently pursuing a degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field Basic understanding of manufacturing processes; exposure to plastic injection molding is a plus Interest in automation, robotics, and hands-on problem solving Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting mindset Familiarity with CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar) Basic knowledge of PLCs or robot programming is a plus but not required Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on manufacturing environment Sanmina is an Equal Opportunity Employer•M/F/Veteran/Disability/Sexual Orientation/Gender Identity This is an ITAR facility and applicants must be a US Citizen or a lawful permanent resident
