Launch Your Engineering Career as a Manufacturing Engineering Intern Cheyenne, WY The Manufacturing Engineering Intern works closely with the Manufacturing Engineering team to support safe, efficient, and continuous assembly operations. This internship offers hands-on, real-world experience for students eager to learn, grow, and apply engineering concepts in a manufacturing environment. Position Overview As a Manufacturing Engineering Intern, you will contribute to process improvements, documentation updates, and lean manufacturing initiatives while gaining valuable industry experience. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assist with the development and optimization of standardized work instructions Revise and create engineering and production documentation using Microsoft Word and SolidWorks PDM Support a safe and healthy work environment by following established standards, procedures, and legal regulations Conduct method studies under supervision and propose process flow and space utilization improvements based on Lean Manufacturing principles Work in a warehouse and manufacturing environment that may include temperature changes, dust, and industrial equipment Sit and/or stand for extended periods of time Lift up to 50 pounds as required Qualifications Minimum of one (1) year of coursework toward an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology Strong mechanical aptitude Ability to adapt quickly, manage multiple tasks, and change priorities as needed Eagerness to learn and contribute in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Why This Internship?
