THIS POSITION IS A 12 HOUR POSITION
7a-7pJob Description:
This position is responsible for the operation of the Pellet Line. They are to maintain the highest standards in regard to all safety policies and procedures as well as general housekeeping procedures. This position reports directly to the Team Leader and Production Manager.Job Functions:
- Completing the proper documentation and recording relevant information throughout the shift.
- Perform a visual inspection of run conditions and in process conditions to confirm correct operation.
- Sampling pellet from the Day Bin and performing assigned quality measurements and inspections to confirm acceptable quality of pellet
- Perform screen changes and inspect screens using proper technique.
- Load raw material in to the Pelletizer.
- Package finished pellets per customer specifications, submitting samples and completing all appropriate paperwork.
- Perform daily housekeeping duties.
- Perform line changeover when scheduled.
- Keep any and all nonconforming material in the clearly defined, nonconforming material area.
Job Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs, stoop ,bend, ascend/descend stairs/ladders, and stand/walk for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to work in a high noise manufacturing environment while exposed to the outside temperatures/environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to multi-task and work in a fast pace environment Education/Training/Experience High School Diploma or equivalent required.
