Summary/Objective The Assembly Operator role is responsible for technical assistance in the
Assembly Operation Area:
includes technical trouble-shooting, set-up of jobs, validation of the quality of productions, conduct training, resolve technical issues and optimize processes, and other items as needed. The Assembly Operator position is a 'working' position. When not involved in resolving issues or optimizing processes, the Technical Operator is responsible for production of parts on an assigned machine. Assures specific quality guidelines are met and, if necessary, takes appropriate actions and measures to rectify quality issues. Ensures that safety regulations, environmental protection, Work Instructions and the Escalation Matrix are respected. Responsible for physical production of parts. Supervises and monitors production processes along with trouble shooting. Accountable for the documentation of the Quality Management System. Responsible for overseeing the set-up of equipment for production orders including documentation. Specializes in technical trouble-shooting of specific equipment. Specializes in optimization of specific processes. Sets-up and changes-over production equipment according to drawings and specifications. Ensures inspection of set-up and spare parts. Provides instruction and continuous training of staff. Ensures on timely fulfillment of production orders. Responsible for administrative duties and completion of paperwork within the scope of work.
Responsible for the documentation of:
technical issues, quantities produced, scrap, start-up, and end of production. Mentors and provides on the job training for new hires. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full time position. The role operates on a production schedule Monday through Friday. As production demands it, this role will be required to work overtime hours including weekend.
