In this energetic role, you will be responsible for testing, inspecting, and troubleshooting complex electronic assemblies to ensure they meet rigorous quality standards. Your expertise will help drive continuous improvement in our production processes, ensuring that every product leaving the line is reliable and performs flawlessly. Responsibilities Perform detailed testing and validation of printed circuit boards (PCBs) using automated test equipment and manual inspection methods. Conduct quality control checks utilizing precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and ohmmeters to verify component placement and electrical performance. Utilize surface mount technology (SMT) techniques, including soldering and rework, to assemble or repair electronic components on PCBs according to schematics and IPC 610 standards. Operate automated optical inspection (AOI) systems and conduct quality assurance assessments to identify defects or inconsistencies in assemblies. Collect and analyze data from test results to identify trends, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions for process improvements. Use hand tools, schematics, and debugging techniques to diagnose electrical or mechanical faults during testing phases. Support manufacturing by maintaining a clean workspace, documenting test procedures, and adhering to safety protocols. Skills Strong knowledge of surface mount technology (SMT), soldering techniques, and PCB assembly processes. Proficiency in quality inspection methods, including the use of precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and ohmmeters. Experience with automated optical inspection (AOI) systems and automated test equipment (ATE). Ability to interpret schematics, technical drawings, and manufacturing documentation accurately. Mechanical aptitude with familiarity in using hand tools like screwdrivers, pliers, and soldering irons for assembly or rework tasks. Skilled in data collection, analysis skills, debugging electrical circuits, and performing quality assurance checks aligned with IPC 610 standards. Knowledge of manufacturing best practices, quality control procedures, and continuous improvement methodologies.
