Job Description

At the direction of the Production Manager, the Packaging/Production Technician is responsible for assisting in the manufacture and production of medical marijuana products. The Packaging/Production Technician is responsible for adhering to policies and procedures with an emphasis on regulatory-related processes such as SOPs and safety to meet the business needs of the organization.
Responsibilities:
Adhere to the daily production schedule to ensure attainment of efficiency goals. Primary duties will be to Package and Label Finished Goods that will be marked for delivery. Secondary duties will be to help in the Production and Development of Finished Goods. Produce reliable and precise data for completion of all required batch, equipment, quality, inventory and state mandated documentation. Accurately fill out all associated logs and tracking records. Contribute to continuous improvement of processes. Ensure the safety of themselves and other by maintaining a safe and orderly workspace. Complete orders as directed by management within established time frame(s). May be required to deliver goods to specific locations per the need of the Production Manager and General Manager discretion. Delivery drivers must meet all of the requirements per the Employee Handbook sub-section "Employees with Driving Responsibilities." At a minimum, here's what you need:
Education or Equivalent:
A high school diploma is required. Prior laboratory experience is preferred, though not required. Must be 21 years of age or older. Positive attitude & Self-motivated. Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment. Able to push, pull or lift a minimum of 50 lbs. Capable of sitting, standing, kneeling, bending, squatting and or walking for extended periods of time. Background Check Requirement As a condition of employment, a complete state and federal background investigation will be required. Individuals that have been convicted of a criminal offense related to the sale or possession of illegal drugs, narcotics or controlled substances may not hold a position with The Collective.
