As a CNC Turning Setup & Production Technician, you'll be a key contributor on a collaborative team that values rigor, craftsmanship, and continuous improvement. Your impact Own setups and production on CNC lathes to meet engineering requirements Translate technical drawings/blueprints into efficient machining strategies Continuously monitor quality and throughput; optimize tooling and offsets Complete routine maintenance and troubleshoot minor equipment issues Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify tolerances Keep your area organized and safe; model best‑practice safety behaviors Collaborate with teammates to refine processes and elevate results Adhere to safety protocols, quality standards, and company policies What you'll need to succeed High school diploma or equivalent (technical degree preferred) 5+ years setting up and operating CNC lathe machines; aerospace industry experience strongly preferred Experience with Mazak and/or Nakamura turning centers preferred Robust understanding of machining principles, tooling, and materials Strong print reading and technical documentation skills Keen attention to detail and a proactive problem‑solving mindset Ability to work both independently and collaboratively; clear communicator U.S. Person Requirement Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidates must qualify as a U.S. Person , defined as: A U.S. citizen A U.S. permanent resident (Green Card holder) Or an individual with protected status under asylum or refugee designation What's in it for you Hands‑on access to advanced CNC technology A collaborative culture that celebrates precision and teamwork Meaningful work in a high‑quality, precision‑driven environment
