Experience in manufacturing, composites, flooring, coatings, or laboratory-supported production environments.

Forklift experience:

certification preferred or ability to obtain certification. Ability to read and follow batch tickets, work instructions, and SOPs. Strong attention to detail and adherence to quality and safety standards. Can lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities:

Composite Flooring Production & Order Fulfillment Pull, stage, assemble, and palletize flooring orders per lab-issued batch tickets and work orders. Prepare, package, aggregates, fillers, and finished flooring components for shipment. Verify order accuracy, completeness, and packaging prior to release for shipment. Coordinate with Lab Management to meet production schedules and shipping deadlines. Material Handling & Equipment Operation Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and related material-handling equipment. Load and unload raw materials and finished composite flooring products. Move materials between raw material storage, laboratory, production, and shipping areas as directed by Lab Management. Laboratory & Process Support Assist with laboratory-controlled activities, including sample preparation, test pours, curing checks, and material verification. Follow approved formulations, batch instructions, and standard operating procedures (SOPs ). Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and readiness of laboratory and production areas. Quality Assurance & Compliance Ensure compliance with laboratory quality standards and process control s. Identify and report nonconforming materials, labeling discrepancies, or process deviations to Lab Management. Accurately complete batch records, order documentation, and inventory transactions as required. Safety & Environmental Compliance Follow all safety requirements related to composite materials, resin handling, and powered industrial equipment. Properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE). Support housekeeping, spill prevention, and waste disposal procedures in accordance with safety and environmental guidelines.
