Golf Cart Production Technician Full-time position

• $19•$23 per hour to start based on experience Overview of the Position and Requirements Cart Mart, a 60-year-old, award winning Golf & Commercial Vehicle Distributor, is searching for an experienced Production Technician for a full-time position based out of their Rancho Mirage, CA location.

This candidate will regularly perform preventative maintenance, install all electrical components, stereos, light kits, beacon lights, wiring harnesses, aftermarket motors, controllers, alarm systems, windshields, mirrors, tops, accessories, etc. on low-speed vehicles such as golf carts, low speed street legal vehicles, battery, gas, and electric. They must be able to maintain cleanliness and safety of work areas at all times and be able to lift up to 65 pounds regularly. This candidate must have at least 3 years of experience installing items and performing preventative maintenance on motorcycles, golf carts, small off-road vehicles, etc., as well as mechanical and electrical knowledge of all components. Golf Cart/Industrial Cart (Club Car, Yamaha, Garia, Polaris, Gem) experience preferred. This candidate must be honest, conscientious, efficient, hard-working, naturally friendly, professional, have integrity and a high-level work ethic, be a self-starter, extremely organized, detailed oriented, possess a positive "can do" attitude, and have strong communication skills. A background check is required. Consistent follow up and follow through is an absolute requirement of this position and an integral part of this position requiring the candidate to be passionate about customer service and installations.
