Manufacturing Technician 3 (Day Shift) Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Manufacturing Technician to join our dynamic team. This position involves working on the assembly and troubleshooting of complex systems, integrating subassemblies, and preparing systems for functional testing. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety, technical expertise, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various teams. Responsibilities Demonstrate safe work practices including electrical safety, safe lifting techniques, and maintaining a clean, safe work area. Follow work instructions to integrate subassemblies and components into the build of complex systems for functional testing. Read mechanical drawings and electrical schematics accurately. Utilize precision measurement tools such as torque wrenches, DMMs, height standards, and other electronic data gathering tools as prescribed in work instructions. Disassemble and pack systems in preparation for shipment and delivery to customers. Write daily pass downs and store build data as directed. Perform basic troubleshooting and assist Manufacturing Engineers in resolving complex issues. Identify opportunities for improvement in safety and manufacturing processes. Perform other duties as assigned. Essential Skills 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in assembly and troubleshooting complex systems.

Ability to work second shift:

2:30 PM - 11:00 PM. Additional Skills & Qualifications An Associate's degree in technical engineering or in Technical Field Service is preferred. Knowledge of hardware, software, and control systems. Experience with manufacturing processes is preferred. Proficiency in MS Word and Excel is preferred. Aptitude for identifying and resolving recurring problems. Good interpersonal and communication skills to interface with assembly technicians, engineering, management, customers, sales, and marketing. Willingness to work overtime, holidays, and weekends as required to meet company revenue requirements. Work Environment The role requires physical capabilities such as lifting at least 50 lbs and performing repetitive tasks while sitting or standing. Must be able to use standard hand tools and standard office equipment. The work shift is from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM, and employees are expected to maintain a professional work environment while adhering to safety protocols. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of San Jose, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr.
