How you'll contribute Translate designs into functioning automated equipment; build, wire, plumb, and commission systems to specification. Plan and execute equipment validations; ensure lines operate within qualified windows while hitting output targets. Act as the resident expert for setup, operation, and fine adjustment of production machinery. Recommend and deploy process improvements, design changes, and automation/equipment upgrades. Deliver technical support that advances operational excellence and smart use of new technology. Diagnose, repair, and fabricate components (welding, cutting, assembly) to restore uptime fast. Author crisp standard work instructions; document custom equipment and modifications thoroughly. Analyze manufacturing methods to mitigate cost, improve safety, enhance productivity, and strengthen quality. Collaborate across departments; evaluate and test machinery for better methods. Install and qualify standard/custom equipment; implement permanent corrective actions and update related processes. Choose your shift Swing Shift - (Mon.-Fri., 3:00 PM-11:30 PM) - $1.00 shift differential will be added to your regular hourly rate for working swing shift.
Graveyard Shift:
(Mon.-Fri., 11:00 PM-7:30 AM) - $3.00 shift differential will be added to your regular hourly rate for working graveyard shift. What you need to succeed High school diploma or equivalent. 5+ years in a highly regulated manufacturing technician role. Ownership of maintenance, setup, and adjustment for production assets. Proficiency with hand tools and shop equipment; capable of welding/cutting/assembling. Proven troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and HVAC domains. Strong analytical judgment and solution-driven mindset. Clear, collaborative communication with all levels, customers, and vendors.
Software proficiency:
MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, IQMS, Acrobat, CAD. Bonus points Experience in the medical device industry. Exposure to lean manufacturing practices.
