Emerald Packaging Inc. - Union City, CA Emerald Packaging is seeking experienced and reliable Converting Line Technicians to support production on high-speed bag-making equipment. This is a hands-on production role responsible for keeping multiple converting lines running efficiently, minimizing downtime, and ensuring product quality standards are met. Position Overview The Converting Line Technician is responsible for monitoring and supporting up to 4 bag-making lines during their shift. This role focuses on machine performance, operational troubleshooting, and production efficiency. Technicians will make basic machine adjustments and corrections to maintain optimal performance. Any complex mechanical or electrical repairs are handled by the Maintenance team. Key Responsibilities Monitor operation of assigned converting/bag-making lines Support job order setup & assist with quality & speed checks Identify and troubleshoot machine performance or production issues Make basic machine adjustments to maintain quality and output Respond quickly to downtime situations and restore production flow Communicate issues to Maintenance for repair support when needed Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work environment Ensure production goals and quality standards are consistently met
