Description:

Use of laser and electron beam powder fusion technology. Responsible for printing, de-powdering, furnace operation, build plate post-processing, and ensuring the smooth operation of our additive manufacturing equipment and processes.

Basic Qualifications:

Basic understanding and the ability to work from schematics, engineering drawings, Manufacturing Process Instructions, and written or verbal instructions. Understanding and safe use of hand tools such as Torque Wrenches, Sharps, Hand Drills, Pneumatic Tools etc. Also calibrated hand tools and equipment such as calipers, micrometers and gauges in a production environment. Operate, troubleshoot, diagnose, and maintain equipment, components, and systems. Additive Manufacturing experience. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive movements. Ability to pass both written and hands-on certification requirements.

Desired Skills:

Ability to work in a fast paced, manufacturing environment. Experience with the daily operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Laser (LPBD) or Electron Beam Melting (EBM) powder bed fusion machines, powder sieve operation and maintenance. Post-processing of parts (support removal, tumbling, etc.) Certified M290, M400, or Spectra H operator with advanced applications training. Familiarity with Creo, 3DXpert, or Magics software working with STL files. Utilize tools such as SAP and VE-CAMs . Ability to do light manual machining work to support build efforts is a plus. Running and maintaining a furnace, including stress relief. Must be very safety conscious, well versed with Hazmat, FOD and tool control.

The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules:

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $56,600 - $99,705. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
