HPLC Column Manufacturing Technician Full Time Monday-Friday

  • Job Description:
  • We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled HPLC Column Manufacturing Technician to join our team. The technician will be responsible for the production and quality control of High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) columns used in various analytical applications.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • 1.
  • Column Assembly:
  • Assemble HPLC columns according to specified protocols and procedures.
  • Ensure proper packing of stationary phases and verify column dimensions and specifications. 2.
  • Quality Control:
  • Conduct routine inspections and tests on finished columns to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Document and report any deviations from quality specifications. 3.
  • Equipment Operation:
  • Operate and maintain manufacturing equipment, including packing machines and testing devices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that arise during the manufacturing process. 4.
  • Process Improvement:
  • Collaborate with engineering and R&D teams to improve column manufacturing processes.
  • Suggest enhancements to increase efficiency and product quality. 5.
  • Documentation:
  • Maintain accurate records of production processes, test results, and inventory.
  • Prepare reports on manufacturing activities and outcomes. 6.
  • Safety and Compliance:
  • Adhere to safety standards and practices in the manufacturing environment.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
  • Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in a related field preferred.
  • Experience in a laboratory or manufacturing environment, preferably in chromatography or analytical chemistry.
  • Familiarity with HPLC systems and techniques.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
  • Working Conditions:
  • The position may require standing for extended periods and working with chemical substances.
  • Personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required.
