Role:
The Cleanroom Operator plays a critical role in maintaining the integrity and cleanliness of controlled manufacturing environments to ensure product quality and compliance with industry standards. This position involves operating and monitoring cleanroom equipment, adhering strictly to established protocols to prevent contamination. The operator will be responsible for performing routine inspections, cleaning, and maintenance tasks to uphold the cleanroom's environmental conditions. Collaboration with quality assurance and production teams is essential to identify and resolve any issues that may impact product safety or process efficiency. Ultimately, the Cleanroom Operator ensures that manufacturing processes meet regulatory requirements and contribute to the production of high-quality goods.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Experience working in a cleanroom or controlled manufacturing environment. Basic understanding of contamination control and cleanroom protocols. Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain accurate records. Physical ability to wear required PPE and perform repetitive tasks in a controlled environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in cleanroom operations or related manufacturing processes. Experience with
ISO 13845
standards or similar cleanroom regulatory frameworks. Familiarity with manufacturing equipment used in semiconductor, pharmaceutical, or medical device industries. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Previous experience in a GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) regulated environment.
Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor cleanroom equipment and systems to maintain required environmental conditions. Perform routine cleaning and sanitization of cleanroom surfaces and tools following strict protocols. Conduct inspections to detect and report any deviations or contamination risks within the cleanroom. Document all activities, observations, and maintenance performed in compliance with company and regulatory standards. Collaborate with quality control and production teams to support continuous improvement and troubleshoot process issues. Adhere to all safety and contamination control procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Participate in training sessions and stay updated on cleanroom best practices and regulatory changes.
