This role is critical to keeping operations running efficiently and minimizing downtime. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude along with pneumatic and electrical troubleshooting experience. This is a very hands-on role working directly on equipment daily and requires someone who can think independently, problem solve quickly, and take ownership of equipment performance.
Responsibilities:
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, and basic electrical equipment issues Repair manufacturing equipment quickly and effectively to minimize downtime Perform preventative maintenance and routine inspections Install, set up, and get new equipment operational Work directly with equipment manufacturers and vendors to troubleshoot issues when needed Maintain maintenance records and repair documentation Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and efficiency Respond quickly to machine breakdowns and production issues Maintain maintenance logs and repair documentation Support production operations to minimize downtime
Requirements:
High School Diploma or Equivalent 3+ years experience in industrial maintenance, manufacturing maintenance, mechanical repair, or related hands-on maintenance role Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills Pneumatic system knowledge required Compressor and air system experience preferred Basic electrical troubleshooting knowledge Ability to diagnose equipment failures independently Comfortable working directly on equipment daily Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Reliable attendance and ability to respond to production needs
Preferred Experience:
Food manufacturing equipment Packaging machinery Manufacturing production equipment Motors, relays, drives, sensors, and controls Preventative maintenance systems
