Schedule:

M-F/ 2nd shift

• Evening hours

Analytical Duties:

• Training of laboratory technicians in the methodologies pertaining to GC and LC pesticide analysis
• Oversee routine daily testing of Control Fertilizer Products as well as manufactured slow release nitrogen based fertilizer products
• Prepare and update SOP's for new instruments, equipment and testing
• Perform and supervise routine preventative maintenance on analytical instrumentation as well as troubleshoot equipment issues
• Develop new analytical SOP's to satisfy product testing needs
• Work with the customer complaint department on product performance issues

• Review and Maintain Analytical Control Product Databases Physical Testing Duties:

• Training of laboratory technicians and manufacturing personnel in the methodologies pertaining to Physical Analysis of incoming raw materials (sieve analysis) and produced polymer coated urea (leeching analysis and product integrity testing)
• Oversee routine daily testing of incoming raw materials as well as produced polymer coated urea
• Prepare and update SOP's for physical testing and polymer coated urea analysis
• Evaluation of new vendor raw material product streams for use in the blending processes Review and Maintain raw material size characteristic documentation and databases

Manufacturing Responsibilities:

• Liaison between laboratory data and manufacturing operations
• Maintain SPC charting of polymer coated urea product performance
• Data analysis for validation of manufacturing processes
• QA / QC Management of incoming

Raw Materials and Finished Products Pay:

$18.00

• $20.

00 per hour
