In this energetic role, you'll deliver top-tier service by diagnosing issues, executing repairs, and ensuring our clients' cooking operations run smoothly and efficiently. Your mechanical knowledge and field service experience will be essential in troubleshooting complex equipment, from ovens and fryers to grills, all while providing outstanding customer support. This work is primarily carried out independently, with support from senior technicians or management for more complex issues Perform detailed diagnostics and repairs on commercial cooking equipment, including appliances such as ovens, ranges, fryers, grills, steamers, toasters, etc. Diagnoses and replaces components such as gas valves, regulators, solenoid valves, and electronic control boards. Troubleshoots ignition systems, temperature sensors, and basic electrical circuits (e.g., 208V/240V elements). Uses wiring diagrams and multimeters for diagnosis and follows sequences of operation. Conduct routine maintenance to prevent breakdowns and extend equipment lifespan. Install new equipment and ensure proper assembly, electrical connections, and calibration according to manufacturer specifications. Proficiency in reading schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals for precise diagnostics. Mechanical knowledge related to commercial kitchen equipment. Electrical experience including wiring repairs, circuit testing, and troubleshooting electrical components. Ability to interpret technical instructions accurately while maintaining safety standards at all times. Ability to identify necessary parts needed for repairs Pay is negotiable based on experience! Must be at least 21 years old. A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required. CFESA certification preferred.
