Job Description

A Snapshot of Your Day Join our dynamic production team as a Manufacturing Assembly Technician, where you will play a vital role in assembling complex control panels and systems. Imagine interpreting technical drawings and specifications to construct, wire, and fit components with precision using various hand and power tools. You will thrive in a safety-first culture, ensuring that every part is aligned, secured, and functional according to engineering standards. Your day will also involve performing quality checks with testing devices like multimeters, guaranteeing that each assembly meets our high-quality benchmarks and customer requirements. Collaborating with your team, you will troubleshoot issues and maintain an efficient workflow while actively contributing to process improvements and ongoing training in control systems and assembly techniques. How You'll Make an Impact You will assemble and wire control panels and systems according to technical drawings, schematics, and engineering specifications. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized assembly equipment to fit, secure, and connect components effectively. Ensure adherence to project-specific quality control plans, specifications, and work instructions as a primary quality liaison between Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality teams. Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment and support a Zero Harm Culture (ZHC). Communicate effectively with team members, engineers, and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow and resolve manufacturing problems while identifying and suggesting improvements to assembly processes. What You Bring A High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience is required, along with a minimum of 5 years of experience in control systems assembly, automation, or a related technical field. An Associate Degree or Technical Certification in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is considered a strong asset. Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals, along with the operation of hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment. Strong understanding of control systems, automation, or robotics, coupled with knowledge of manufacturing safety and quality control practices. Effective communication and teamwork skills, with a commitment to continuous improvement and attention to detail in fabrication. Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
