Job Description

About the Role We are seeking Repair Weld Operators for our new and growing Tier 1 supply company in Dalton, GA! The right candidate will be an energetic team player who is interested in becoming an expert and growing within our company for a long term and satisfying career. This role plays a critical part in ensuring product quality by performing manual weld repairs prior to full production and supporting several key production functions. We are a multicultural organization that is growing and looking for people who want to be part of our team. Key Responsibilities Perform manual weld repairs on assemblies. Operate and manage robotic laser and assembly cells. Support additional production activities as needed before full production ramp-up, including: Assisting fabrication Production tooling support Working with maintenance when required Building wraps and racks Running assembly cells, lasers, and off‑stacking for the press Maintain flexibility in daily tasks based on production priorities. Train future Repair Weld Operators as the department grows. Quick quality check Quality control documentation and implementation Transport materials throughout the plant Assist changing the welding devices Maintain cleanliness on laser machine and work area Required Qualifications Welding degree from an accredited institution. Successfully complete and pass two welding qualification tests : Visual welding test Cut and etch test Recent welding experience (must have held a welding-related job within the last year). Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and within a team. Must be flexible. Willingness to assist other departments and adapt to shifting workloads. Physical Requirements Work is performed in a typical manufacturing environment. Requires frequent visual focus and sustained attention. Ability to move throughout the plant, including upper‑level areas. Must be able to distinguish colors for repair tasks. Ability to lift up to 40 pounds . Are You Ready?
