We are seeking a skilled and experienced Industrial Manufacturing CNC Maintenance Technician to join our team in Atlanta, GA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing CNC machines to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime. This role requires a strong technical background, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Preventive Maintenance:

Perform regular preventive maintenance on CNC machines and related equipment to ensure reliable operation. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and machine performance.

Troubleshooting and Repair:

Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control issues on CNC machines, including lathes, mills, and other automated equipment. Repair or replace defective components to restore machine functionality. Collaborate with operators and production staff to identify and resolve machine-related issues.

Calibration and Adjustment:

Calibrate and adjust CNC machines to maintain precision and accuracy in machining operations. Ensure all safety and performance standards are met.

Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory. Report any significant issues or recurring problems to the Maintenance Manager.

Continuous Improvement:

Identify opportunities for improving machine reliability and performance. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and suggest enhancements to maintenance procedures.

Safety and Compliance:

Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate protective gear at all times. Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations regarding equipment maintenance and safety.

Qualifications:

Education:

High school diploma or GED required. Technical certification or associate degree in a related field preferred.

Experience:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in CNC machine maintenance or a related field. Experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting is highly desirable.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, and control systems of CNC machines. Strong understanding of CNC programming, schematics, and technical manuals. Familiarity with various CNC machine brands and models.

Physical Stamina:

Ability to perform manual tasks, including heavy lifting and prolonged standing. Attention to

Problem-Solving:

Capability to identify and address issues promptly and effectively.

Safety Awareness:

Strong understanding of safety protocols and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.

Compensation:

Hourly rate depends on experience.

Senior Technicians:

$35+ per hour.
