6:00 AM•10:00 AM Overview Wold Rim & Wheel is hiring a Production Technician to join our wheel manufacturing facility in St. Ansgar, Iowa. This is a hands-on industrial production job in a manufacturing, fabrication, and metal production environment . We are willing to train motivated individuals with mechanical aptitude or general labor experience . What You'll Do (Manufacturing / Production Duties) Operate industrial manufacturing equipment including: Grinders Sanders Shot blasters Wash line systems Tubeless testing equipment Perform production and assembly tasks according to work orders and blueprints Operate overhead crane and pallet jack for material handling and warehouse movement Inspect parts to ensure quality control and product standards Support lean manufacturing, production flow, and shop efficiency Maintain clean, safe work areas in an industrial environment Follow OSHA safety procedures and use PPE Work as part of a manufacturing production team What We're Looking For High School Diploma or GED Mechanical aptitude or interest in manufacturing, fabrication, or machine operation Ability to read and follow work instructions and production schedules Dependable attendance in a production or warehouse environment Strong work ethic and willingness to learn Preferred Experience (Not Required): Manufacturing, machine operator, production worker, or assembly experience Overhead crane operation Metal fabrication or industrial production background Physical Requirements (Industrial Work Environment) Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly Standing, walking, bending, lifting, and repetitive motion throughout shift Exposure to noise, dust, metal fabrication processes, and industrial machinery Ability to work safely in a manufacturing plant environment Benefits Health insurance Paid time off (PTO) 401(k) retirement plan Paid holidays Opportunities for advancement / career growth in manufacturing Stable full-time production schedule On-the-job training provided
