Position Summary:
The Manufacturing Technician is responsible for the day-to-day operation, monitoring and maintenance support of manufacturing equipment within a photomask fabrication facility. This role ensures stable tool performance, supports high equipment uptime, and helps minimize defect contribution through proper equipment handling, preventative maintenance execution, and rapid response to tool issues. Working closely with Equipment Engineers, Process Engineers, and Manufacturing Teams, the technician plays a critical role in sustaining production, maintaining process consistency, and supporting continuous improvement efforts in a cleanroom environment.Location:
Boise, ID (US). This is an on-site position, and we are not open to remote candidates at this time. Responsibilities Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment to ensure stable and consistent performance in production Perform routine preventative maintenance (PM) and assist with scheduled calibrations and qualifications Respond to tool alarms, faults, and process deviations, escalating issues as appropriate Execute basic troubleshooting and support root-cause investigations led by engineering teams Maintain equipment readiness by managing consumables, setups, and process conditions Record and track tool performance data, logs, and maintenance activities in MES or equipment tracking systems Support equipment startups. Shutdowns, and changeovers in coordination with production schedules Assist with installation, relocation, and qualification of new equipment or upgrades under engineering guidance Follow and enforce cleanroom protocols, safety procedures, and EHS requirements Maintain accurate documentation, including work instructions, checklists, and maintenance records Partner with engineering and manufacturing teams to support yield improvement, defect reduction, and process stability initiativesTravel:

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Semiconductor manufacturing flow and cleanroom operations, a plus Familiarity with mechanical, electrical, and/or fluid systems in a production environment Ability to follow detailed procedures and work instructions with precision Basic Data entry and familiarity with MES or equipment tracking systems Comfortable working in cleanroom conditions for extended periods Ability to handle equipment safety and follow strict procedural controlsExperience:
2-4 years working in a high-tech manufacturing environment Equivalent hands-on experience in semiconductor, photomask, or cleanroom manufacturing environment, a plus Experience with automated manufacturing equipment or production tools, a plus Background in supporting preventative maintenance procedures and basic troubleshooting, a plusEducation:
