This role is responsible for operating, setting up, monitoring, and maintaining production equipment to ensure quality, efficiency, and continuous production performance. Candidates with experience in CNC machining, extrusion manufacturing, plastics processing, or automated production equipment are encouraged to apply. Cross-training will be provided for suitable candidates with strong manufacturing aptitude and technical skills. Key Responsibilities Setup and operate CNC and production equipment according to work instructions and engineering specifications Operate HAAS and
MIKRON CNC
machines, including material loading, tooling setup, and machine parameter adjustments Support extrusion manufacturing operations, including material loading, die setup, machine monitoring, and process adjustments Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and manufacturing instructions to ensure accurate production output Monitor machine performance and product quality during production runs Inspect finished products using measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges Troubleshoot minor machine or process issues and perform routine preventive maintenance Perform product changeovers, tooling replacement, cleaning, and housekeeping activities Maintain accurate production records, downtime reports, and inventory usage logs Conduct weekly stock checks of raw materials, tooling, and consumables, and coordinate replenishment when required Follow workplace safety procedures, quality standards, and operational requirements Requirements Previous experience in CNC machining, extrusion manufacturing, plastics production, automated manufacturing, or related industrial operations Familiarity with HAAS and/or MIKRON machines is an advantage Ability to read technical drawings and use precision measuring instruments Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Willingness to learn multiple manufacturing processes and equipment Good attention to detail, reliability, and teamwork Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and support overtime or shift work when required Preferred Qualifications Experience with CNC setup or machine programming Knowledge of CAD/CAM or
MASTERCAM
software Experience in plastics extrusion or continuous production manufacturing Forklift or material handling experience is an advantage
