Job Description
Job Purpose:
The Manufacturing Tech III at PRINSCO is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the manufacturing processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and productivity. This role involves leading technical initiatives, troubleshooting complex issues, and implementing improvements within the production environment.Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage manufacturing projects to improve process efficiency and product quality. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues within the manufacturing operations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and innovations. Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. Train and mentor junior technicians to enhance their technical skills and knowledge. Analyze production data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Develop and maintain documentation related to manufacturing processes and procedures. Ensure optimal utilization of resources to meet production targets and deadlines. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to drive operational excellence. Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to all company policies and regulations.Required Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate degree in a related field is preferred.Required Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Proven experience in operating and maintaining manufacturing equipment. Experience in process improvement and lean manufacturing principles. Previous experience in a supervisory or team lead role is advantageous.Required Skills and Abilities:
Strong technical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues. Excellent understanding of safety protocols and procedures in a manufacturing setting. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. Proficient in using computer software for data entry and reporting. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and lead by example. High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
