Production Operator Job Description As a Production Operator, you will play a crucial role in operating production or packaging equipment efficiently and safely. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of product quality and safety, ensuring the smooth running of manufacturing and packaging processes. Responsibilities Operate assigned production or packaging equipment at target run rates. Monitor product quality and make adjustments to maintain standards. Identify and remove off-spec product; communicate issues promptly. Complete production, downtime, and quality documentation accurately. Perform routine cleaning, sanitation, and basic equipment care. Follow all GMP, food safety, allergen, and safety procedures. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Support team members and ensure effective cross-functional communication. Essential Skills Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and quality standards consistently. Dependable, safety-minded, and team-oriented. Willingness to work overtime, rotating shifts, and cross-train. Additional Skills & Qualifications Prior manufacturing or machine operation experience.
