Job Description:

SUMMARY OF POSITION

Responsible for the efficient operation of the Anodize line. Ensures quality material is produced in accordance with established standards.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Racks parts in preparation for treatment based on pre-determined schedule. Unloads and inspects parts to ensure they meet company and customer standards. Ability to run the line in manual or automatic mode. Monitors line to ensure proper operation. May need to stop and restart line as needed. Troubleshoots any problems throughout the production process and chooses best course of action. Consults with lead and/or supervisor as necessary. Packages material according to customer specification with no damage to material. Shows ability to verify anodize process perimeters (recipes) Perform temperature checks Notifies supervisor of any mechanical problems. Performs all duties in accordance with company safety and standards. Maintains a clean and orderly work area. Properly wears required Personal Protective Equipment.

OCCASSIONAL DUTIES

Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.

EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION

High School graduate or equivalent.

SKILLS:

Ability to work independently without supervision. Special attention to detail is required.

Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to see print in various sizes and formats. May be required to climb stairs. Must regularly be able to pull and push up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.

Work environment:

Work performed in a production environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time (for Maintenance & Receiving only). The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high, in some areas.
