Press Operator

CoWorx Staffing Services is seeking Press Operator candidates in the Attleboro, MA area.

Responsibilities:

Set up and operate presses, spot welders, and tapping machines. Perform bench operations using hand-held equipment. Use equipment such as punch presses, degreasers, welders, pneumatic and foot presses, optical comparator scales, micrometers, gauges, templates, torque wrenches, verniers, calipers, thread comparators, and plug and ring gauges. Perform preventive maintenance on equipment as scheduled. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area. Wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times. Perform additional duties as required. Lift up to 25 pounds as needed. Stand for up to 90% of the workday.

Desired Background/Skills:

High school diploma or equivalent required. Basic shop math skills. Ability to read and understand written instructions in English. Ability to use handheld measurement instruments. Experience operating continuous metal strip processing equipment preferred.
