ROLE SUMMARY
The Manufacturing Technician I supports the production of chemical and biological reagents used in research, diagnostics, or commercial applications. This entry-level role focuses on executing routine manufacturing tasks under supervision while following established procedures, quality standards, and safety requirements.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Perform routine reagent manufacturing tasks following SOPs and batch records
- Prepare standard buffers, solutions, and simple formulations
- Operate basic lab equipment (balances, pH meters, stir plates)
- Complete batch records and accurately
- Review batch records and documentation for accuracy and compliance
- Maintain clean and organized work areas
- Escalate issues, deviations, or errors to senior staff
- Label, package, and store finished products according to specifications
- Follow all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
- Support cleaning, setup, and material handling activities
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma/GED
- 0-1 years experience with batch manufacturing or continuous processing
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Attention to detail and ability to follow detailed procedures
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with PPE requirements
- Familiarity with safety protocols, and regulatory standards
- Basic lab math and solution preparation skills
