ROLE SUMMARY
The Manufacturing Technician I supports the production of chemical and biological reagents used in research, diagnostics, or commercial applications. This entry-level role focuses on executing routine manufacturing tasks under supervision while following established procedures, quality standards, and safety requirements.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Perform routine reagent manufacturing tasks following SOPs and batch records
  • Prepare standard buffers, solutions, and simple formulations
  • Operate basic lab equipment (balances, pH meters, stir plates)
  • Complete batch records and accurately
  • Review batch records and documentation for accuracy and compliance
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas
  • Escalate issues, deviations, or errors to senior staff
  • Label, package, and store finished products according to specifications
  • Follow all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
  • Support cleaning, setup, and material handling activities
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 0-1 years experience with batch manufacturing or continuous processing
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow detailed procedures
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with PPE requirements
  • Familiarity with safety protocols, and regulatory standards
  • Basic lab math and solution preparation skills
