Job Description

Job Title:
Production Technician Job Description The Production Technician sets up and operates machinery and equipment to perform routine processing operations in support of manufacturing parts and finished goods. This role ensures all work meets established tolerance and quality standards, maintains accurate records, and actively participates in team meetings and problem-solving activities. The Production Technician also supports planning and scheduling efforts, trains other manufacturing personnel on products and processes, and performs related duties as needed.

9:00am - 7:30pm Responsibilities Set up machinery and equipment to perform routine processing operations for the production of parts and finished goods. Operate production and general manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently, including mixing and machine operation tasks. Ensure all work performed meets established tolerance, specification, and quality standards. Maintain accurate and timely production records, logs, and documentation. Monitor machine performance by observing gauges, dials, and indicators to verify proper operation. Perform routine maintenance on equipment and identify when and what type of maintenance is required. Participate actively in group meetings and team-based problem-solving activities. Provide input to work planning, scheduling, and process improvements as requested. Train other manufacturing personnel in product knowledge, process steps, equipment operation, and quality requirements. Identify causes of operating errors and determine appropriate corrective actions. Adapt to new information and processes to support continuous improvement in production and quality. Perform other related duties as needed or directed to support overall production goals. Safely lift, move, and handle materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds as part of daily tasks. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience working in a clean, organized, climate-controlled manufacturing facility. Comfort with participating in team meetings and contributing to group problem-solving. Experience training or mentoring other manufacturing personnel on processes and quality standards. Attention to detail and commitment to meeting quality, tolerance, and documentation requirements. Strong sense of responsibility and reliability in following established procedures and safety practices. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hanover, MA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
