Job Description

JOB SUMMARY
The production equipment technician apprentice responsible for routine maintenance of our embroidery machines, heat seal presses, digital printers, and laser machines.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
None
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
: Repair of Cap Frames & other machine attachments. Cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs of embroidery machines. PM on all machinery. Daily record keeping of machine tasks performed. Additional duties as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES
Ability to follow verbal directions. Ability to read instructions in English. Ability to work in a team environment. Ability to work in a fast paced environment. Ability to perform troubleshooting/problem solving tasks Ability to work with tools and machinery. Skill set to learn how to troubleshoot and repair all equipment
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Ability to stand for extended periods of time. Repetitive use of hands, fingers, and arms. Ability to demonstrate fine dexterity skills. Ability to move about the facility. Ability to climb, bend, reach, kneel and crouch. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds. Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as needed.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Exposure to moderate noise level.
VISION REQUIREMENT
Close and distance vision. Vision to be able to thread a needle. Color vision.
PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT
Closed toe footwear required when entering the Production Floor (as needed). Safety Glasses (as needed).
SCHEDULE
3:30 pm - 12:00 am Monday - Friday with Overtime (during the week) as required.
