Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a Production Test Tech 1 for a contract opportunity with a growing manufacturing team in Waltham, MA. This hands-on role is ideal for a detail-oriented production, assembly, or test technician who enjoys working with mechanical components, wiring, soldering, measurement assembly, and production equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.   • Perform mechanical and measurement assembly operations on components, assemblies, and subassemblies.
  • Complete wiring, component installation, hand soldering, cable assembly, bonding, fitting, and related production tasks following established procedures.
  • Set up and adjust equipment while maintaining blueprint specifications, tolerances, quality standards, and production schedules.
  • Operate production equipment, complete work orders, and accurately record labor time and production activity in company systems.
  • Identify and report non-conforming materials, production concerns, equipment issues, and safety concerns to management.
  • Support Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, and 5S efforts by maintaining tools, fixtures, equipment, and work areas. Compensation and Benefits
  • Pay range: $17 to $22 per hour.
