Manufacturing Technician

As the Manufacturing Technician, you will be responsible for supporting assembly and in-line testing of Manufacturing operations as well as assembling, testing electronic, optical and mechanical sub-systems in the requested quantity, quality and time limit based on the orientations set by the Production Team Lead and/or Value Stream Manager. Onsite role in our Ann Arbor, MI facility. What you will accomplish together with usSupports manufacturing operations within the Manufacturing Department as defined by Production Team Lead and Value Stream ManagerTroubleshoot process & equipment problems promptly to minimize Manufacturing downtimeAssemble products to support Manufacturing Assembly teams in order to achieve daily production rates given by the Production ManagerRealize and control all his/her/their production operations with the requested quality, while respecting performance constraints and requirements (safety, security and environment)Know and follow the safety rules related to equipment and peopleReport with rigor and precision of their production to the shift leader / team leaderEnsure the cleanliness and permanent storage of the work environment What will convince usHigh school diploma or GED2+ years of experience in a manufacturing position, including assembling complex mechanical or electronic systems, troubleshooting and testing systems and configuring/installing software for new assembly setupsStrong ability to interpret technical documentation and perform basic calculationsProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)Knowledge of materials, products, equipment and associated processes
