As an Automated Production Technician, you ensure equipment runs at peak performance, quality stays high, and the team meets its goals. Location Auburn Hills, Michigan Night schedule 12-hour night shifts on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday with rotating Wednesdays 12-hour night shifts on Thursday, Friday, Saturday with rotating Wednesdays What your shift looks like You begin by readying your work area and verifying equipment status. Throughout the shift, you keep a close eye on performance, complete routine checks, and document results. When minor issues crop up, you help diagnose and resolve them quickly so production stays on track. You wrap up by recording data, cleaning down your station, and sharing updates with the next team. What you'll handle Run and monitor production equipment to maintain optimal throughput and reliability Conduct routine in-process and final quality checks to uphold standards Follow safety procedures and sustain an orderly, clean workstation Assist with basic troubleshooting and minor repairs when needed Work closely with teammates to hit production targets and deadlines Accurately log production data and promptly report variances to supervisors Engage in ongoing training and upskilling opportunities What you bring High school diploma or GED; technical certification is a plus Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred Comfort operating machinery and understanding of basic mechanical principles Strong quality mindset and attention to detail Clear communication and effective teamwork Willingness to work night shifts and adjust hours as needed Basic computer proficiency for data entry and reporting
