Production Technician

About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and mechanically inclined individual to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be instrumental in the fabrication, assembly, and quality control of our products. Your proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments will be essential to meeting production goals. Responsibilities Operate power presses, manual kick presses, and shear tables to fabricate parts and form wire mesh, ensuring precise dimensions and adherence to specifications. Assemble components using resistance welders, soldering techniques, and laser cutters, contributing to the efficient production of high-quality products. Conduct thorough inspections of parts using micrometers, calipers, indicators, and go/no-go gages, maintaining strict quality standards and identifying any deviations. Utilize computer systems to scan jobs, track workflow, and access digital job details, ensuring accurate record-keeping and efficient production management. Maintain tools and dies using lathes, CNC machines, grinders, and drill presses, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime. Adhere to all company safety procedures and PPE requirements, contributing to a safe and secure working environment. Package finished products for shipment or storage, ensuring proper handling and protection during transit. Assist with materials handling and inventory management, supporting the smooth flow of materials and accurate stock levels. Qualifications Preferred Skills 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing or factory environment. Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and production documentation. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately. Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand or sit for extended periods. Required Skills High school diploma/GED and/or ability to pass a basic math test. Proficient in using hand tools and power tools. Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
