Production Technician

Learn more about our culture and people here by clicking here: https://ias.ac/henrob-jobs Your role As a Production Technician, your mission is to be responsbile for the assembly of adhesive dispensing equipment. You will report to the Production Manager. This is a 1st shift opportunity: 6am-2:30pm. You will Assemble dispensing systems
Troubleshoot issues with equipment, using testing instruments Inspect and perform quality control checks Log into daily schedule and complete assigned tasks
Escalate any issues/concerns
Resolves and test finished products, debugs electrical, mechanical and software issues dynamically Maintains clean, organized workstation Adheres quality and safety standards and participate in safety initiative
Document required production documents
Coordinate with Quality, Project Engineering, Project management teams related to issues on work shop To succeed, you will need We encourage you to apply even if you don't meet every single requirement. We value diverse experiences and perspectives and are excited to see what you bring to the role. Minimum 1 year of experience in mechanical or electrical assembly in a production environment
Ability to learn computer programs
Knowledge and skills in the construction, operation, and hazard recognition of electrical systems and equipment
Ability to read basic blueprints, drawings, and electrical schematics
Ability to use basic hand tools along with industry instruments including a voltage detector and caliper
Ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing
Continuous improvement mindset: ability to implement new processes and ideas
Proven ability to work independently, prioritize conflicting tasks, manage time effectively, and make certain independent decisions
Ability to stand for the majority of an 8 hour work shift; 6 or more hours typically
Ability to lift up to 35-40 pounds periodically; lift assist available as needed.
High School Diploma or GED Required
