Job and Company Overview:
Brightz makes LED lighting accessories, including bike lights, wheel lights, and similar products, sold at retailers like Walmart, Target, Amazon, and Dick's Sporting Goods. We are improving our own manufacturing processes in the U.S., including 3D printing, circuit board assembly, and injection molding. We're looking for the perfect candidate to help run it and make it better. This is not a typical line job. It is a dream-it, build-it, fix-it, figure-it-out job.
Who We're Looking For:
We're looking for someone passionate and creative. The type of person with a garage full of projects. Someone who fixes things instead of throwing them out. This person likes building, and is good with their hands. Someone that... Is comfortable around 3D printers Has strong mechanical ability and a real knack for figuring things out Has Mechatronics familiarity is a plus but not required Offers a range of skills they have picked up on their own No degree required This role can grow into a lead or engineering position as our manufacturing scales.
What You Would Actually Do:
You will be part of a small team focused on improving how we manufacture in-house. The work is broad and changes week to week. Some weeks you may be getting a new machine running. Other weeks you may be building a fixture to speed up a slow job, or chasing down why a line keeps jamming. Day to day, you can expect to: Work alongside the team to improve our manufacturing processes Set up new equipment and keep it running Build jigs, fixtures, and tooling to make jobs faster and more consistent Find what is slowing a line down, then fix it Communicate with outside vendors Document the processes that work Move across 3D printing, electronics assembly, injection molding, and packaging How to apply: Send an email to hr@brightz.com with the following... Benefits:
