Production Technician

Job Summary:

The Production Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on plant equipment to ensure optimal performance. This role will support the engineering team with engineering projects between all departments. The role will also include working with Production Engineers to ensure proper setups of production equipment in all departments.

Responsibilities:

Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and failures. Diagnose and resolve equipment issues efficiently. Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on machinery. Support general facilities maintenance and inspections. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors. Collaborate in a team environment to ensure operational success. Adhere strictly to all plant safety regulations. Assist the Engineering team with automation projects by completing assigned tasks. Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and enhance efficiency. Collaborate with various departments to complete essential projects. Identify replacement parts and develop solutions to address production challenges.

Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Proven problem-solving abilities. Capability to perform physically demanding tasks. Self-motivated Basic computer skills Experienced with basic hand tools Experience with measurement tools (calipers, Micrometers, other) Ability to work well in a team environment Willingness to learn
