Job Description:
Overview The Production Control Tech I will coordinate the product flow after the machining process through final inspection. This position will work with quality, accounting, manufacturing, and engineering to move product throughout the organization. This position will also communicate the status of the product with customers and outside vendors.
Shift:
Monday to Friday 7:30am - 4:00pm Responsibilities + Maintain production schedule and work orders to enable product flow to insure on time deliveries + Print orders for production and monitor the completion of orders + Supply customer service with delivery dates + Monitor customer backlog reports for manufacturing to ensure on time delivery + Move product internally and expedite to outside vendors + Expedite orders as needed to meet customer demands + Respond to internal customer requests + Prepare and submit shipping lists to accounting + Adhere to all safety policies; includes wearing personal protective equipment when required + Support and comply with the company Quality System, ISO, and medical device requirements + Read, understand, and follow work instructions and standard work + Partner with other business segments: sales/marketing, customer service, engineering, quality, and finance + Understand customer needs and the core business markets we serve + Ensure business systems are implemented, maintained, and functioning properly + Participate in required company meetings + Maintain an organized work area (5S) + Participate in the Operational Excellence Program + Complete all other work duties as assigned + Ability to work in a manufacturing environment Qualifications + High School diploma or equivalent degree (GED) + Understanding of production requirements, processes and materials + Understanding of schedules and planning principles and concepts + Understanding of inventory principles and concepts + Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher) + Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills + Attention to detail + Organizational skills + Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment + Ability to prioritize and multitask + 1 year of experience + Medical manufacturing experience + Experience working in a highly regulated industry (FDA, ISO) Pay Range USD $23.08 - USD $33.46 /Hr. Pay Range Details This pay range reflects the base hourly rate or annual salary for positions within this job grade, based on our market-based pay structures. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as skills, relevant experience, education, internal equity, business needs, and local market conditions. While the full hiring range is shared for transparency, offers are rarely made at the minimum or maximum of the range.
