Full Job Description Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Cleaning Technician to join our team in Fridley and help us maintain the high quality our customers depend on. As a Production Technician, you are the first line of defense in our quality process. By meticulously cleaning and inspecting engine components, you ensure that every part is ready for precision remanufacturing and long-term reliability. 1st
Shift:
5AM-1:30
PM Pay:
Starting at $20-21/hr
Responsibilities:
Precision Cleaning:
Use industrial washing systems and high-powered pressure washers to strip grease, oil, and debris from engine components [Original Text].
Quality Inspection:
Visually audit cleaned parts for defects, wear, or missing components to ensure they meet our strict "OE or better" specifications.
Equipment Operation:
Safely manage industrial washing machinery and material handling equipment (like carts and hoists) to keep the production line moving [Original Text].
Safety & Grit:
Uphold a "safety-first" culture by following all protocols and keeping your workstation organized in a fast-paced environment.
Team Collaboration:
Work alongside your team to hit production deadlines and support our lean manufacturing goals.
Qualifications:
The Right Mindset:
Mechanical aptitude and a sharp eye for detail.
Reliability:
The ability to follow complex instructions and work effectively with minimal supervision.
Physical Stamina:
Comfort standing for long shifts (typically starting early at 5:30 AM) and the ability to lift up to 50lbs.
Experience:
Previous manufacturing experience is a plus, but we are happy to train candidates with the right "grit" and work ethic.
Work Environment:
Fast -paced, hands-on manufacturing setting. The environment on the shop floor is usually loud, hot and humid in the summer months and involves standing on cement floors with exposure to chemicals and metal particles. PPE required on manufacturing floor at all times.
