Edible Production Technician Job Description Position Title:
Edible Production Technician Reports to:
Kitchen Manager Job Overview:
The ideal candidate for this role is a self-starter and team player, who will apply their knowledge of food production to perform a variety of duties related to day-to-day edible production. The candidate will be a team player in the production of cannabis-infused chocolates and gummies. This role demands an adherence to compliance and sanitation standards, attention to detail, and a passion for creating a high-quality cannabis-infused product.

  • $17/hr Hours Monday- Thursday 5:00a.
m.- 4:00p.m.
Responsibilities/Duties:
  • Basic understanding and knowledge of how to properly use and maintain all equipment in the kitchen
  • Carefully follow all standard operating procedures and PPE requirements
  • Maintain relevant training as new products are introduced
  • Prepare all edibles in a sanitary and timely manner
  • Record all pertinent information for manufactured products into daily production logs
  • Other duties as assigned
Minimum Position Qualifications:
  • Prior kitchen experience is required (i.e. line cook, prep cook, baker, dish washer, etc.)
  • Must be and remain compliant with any and all legal or company regulations for working in the cannabis industry
  • Possess valid driver's license or state ID
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Must obtain and retain a state Facility Agent Identification Card
  • Current ServSafe Certification is a plus, but not required
  • METRC experience is a plus, but not required
  • Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs
  • Ability to perform the following physical tasks: sitting, standing, stooping, stretching, walking, bending, twisting, reaching, performing repetitive motions, and carrying boxes.
Pay:
$17.00 per hour
