Job Description

We're a 100% employee-owned company and looking to add an experienced Aluminum Manufacturing Technician to our team. As an Aluminum Manufacturing Technician your impact is two-fold: For the customer, your goal is to ensure every aluminum assembly is built to spec, accurately kitted, and shipped on time so our customers can count on us to deliver. For the team, your goal is to keep production moving. You'll cut, machine, and assemble extruded aluminum components, maintain clean and organized paperwork, and work closely with Purchasing, Shipping, and Sales to resolve any issues that come up along the way.

Responsibilities & Duties:
Read and interpret blueprints and drawings, including dimensions, notes, and revision-controlled instructions. Execute aluminum production work orders to support on-time delivery and quality standards. Cut, machine (Haas CNC, drill press, tapping machine), and assemble aluminum extrusions using hand and power tools per work instructions. Assemble customer-defined kits and verify accuracy of contents prior to shipment. Maintain complete production paperwork and ensure all in-process and outgoing products are properly labeled. Record inspection and quality results using the electronic quality system. Coordinate with Purchasing, Shipping & Receiving, and Sales to resolve production issues as needed. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements & Qualifications:
Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school preferred, or equivalent relevant manufacturing experience. Ability to read blueprints and follow written and verbal instructions with strong attention to detail. Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness while meeting productivity expectations. Ability to work effectively and communicate professionally in a team environment. Must be able to obtain forklift certification at JHF.
