Shift Feed Mill Technician Department/Location of Position:

Smithton, MO Starting Pay:

$21.35/hour JBS Live Pork Smithton is looking for a full time 2nd shift Feed Mill Production Technician. This position is part of an excellent team that is responsible for manufacturing and shipping of animal feed.

Responsibilities include:

• Run multiple pieces of equipment, i.e. grinders, batching scales, mixers, feed cleaners, pellet mills, coolers. Samples and receives ingredients by truck and monitors ingredients inventory levels.
• Manufacture feeds to ensure that they meet specifications and food safety requirements.
• Schedule production based on priorities and customer demands.
• Keep accurate, legible records.
• Perform housekeeping tasks, maintain a clean workplace.

Requirements:

• Must be able to read/comprehend English and authorized to work in the U.S.
• Good math skills.
• Good mechanical aptitude.
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Computer knowledge.

Monday - Friday, occasion weekend work may be necessary Any other duties assigned by management.

Preferred:

Prior experience in feed milling Ideal candidates should have above average skills in teamwork, decision making, taking responsibility, and integrity The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits :
