Job Description

General Description/Functions:
Assembly of components and sub-components in hand-to-hand method of production, which includes manual or automated operation of machinery or tools. Work requires extended periods of standing and repetitive motion such as gripping, reaching, bending, pushing, or pulling.
Examples:
use of air actuated tools, cutters, knives, placement of parts in fixtures, packing parts in shipping containers or racks, placing parts on belts and conveyors, the retrieval of parts from machines to rack or bin. Moving materials and products to and from the work area which involves lifting up to 20 - 30 lbs on a regular basis. Ensure quality of product by a variety of methods, such as: visual inspection, data collection, first article checks, and other inspections. Must complete daily production reports tracking parts built, scrap, and other reports.
Tasks/Activities:
1) Use personal protective equipment at all times while following all safety policies and procedures. 2) Complete first article check sheets to verify and approve part is within quality specifications of customer. 3) Produce required product according to SOS (Standard Operating Sheets) 4) Ensure the quality of the products produced are within customer specifications. 5) Once product has been assembled / produced, move to proper shipping / storage containers or racks. 6) Complete all necessary production and quality paperwork. 7) Respond to additional work assignments when requested, and perform all essential functions in a timely manner under typical production schedules.

From $16.25 per hour
