Weekend Shift

  • 6pm Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Mill Support Operator, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring smooth and efficient operations within our manufacturing environment.
This energetic position involves supporting the milling process, maintaining equipment, and assisting with various operational tasks to keep production running seamlessly. Your hands-on approach and mechanical aptitude will contribute directly to the quality and productivity of our food processing facility. Responsibilities Assist with the setup, operation, and maintenance of milling machinery and support equipment to optimize production flow Conduct routine inspections of machinery, identify issues, and perform basic repairs or coordinate repairs with maintenance teams Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment safely to move raw materials, finished products, and supplies around the facility Support food processing activities by ensuring cleanliness, sanitation, and adherence to safety standards throughout the production area Manage inventory of raw materials, supplies, and finished goods, ensuring accurate documentation and storage Follow all safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation, food safety regulations, and workplace safety guidelines Collaborate with team members across departments to meet daily production goals efficiently Qualifications Mechanical knowledge with experience in manufacturing or tube mill environment Proven ability to operate forklifts, heavy equipment, and overhead crane Familiarity with manufacturing processes is highly desirable Prior experience in production and/or manufacturing is a plus Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting, standing for extended periods, and working in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail with excellent safety awareness and compliance skills Join us in a role that combines hands-on work with meaningful contributions!
