Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Wire Harness Production and Assembly Technician to join our team. You will be responsible for assembling wiring harnesses based on company instructions, diagrams, and samples. We will train you how to read and interpret our assembly instructions, as well as how to build/assemble the harnesses on site. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in an employee-focused environment where skills can be developed to produce quality wiring harnesses in a local automotive products shop. We are a local, Stevensville small business that values employees and enjoys working together! Responsibilities Assemble wire harnesses according to detailed schematics, diagrams, and work instructions. Use hand tools and machining equipment to cut, strip, crimp, solder, and connect electrical wires and components. Test completed harnesses using electrical testing devices to verify functionality. Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols related to electrical wiring and manufacturing processes. Collaborate with coworkers to review schematics, troubleshoot issues, and improve assembly procedures. Skills Ability to read schematics, technical drawings, and wiring diagrams accurately. We will teach the ideal candidate the required skills for proficiency. Ability to arrive to work on time and as scheduled ready to work. Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner. Ability to work without distractions. If you find that you are a person who needs to be frequently on the phone, browsing social media, etc. this is not the job for you unfortunately. The nature of this industry requires you to remain focused to avoid errors. Ability to use basic hand tools for wire stripping, crimping, and soldering.
