• Position Overview
• We are seeking a
• performance-driven Manufacturing Technician I
• to support production operations at Pitney Bowes. In this role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing industrial equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Key Responsibilities
• + Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair
• industrial mechanical and electrical equipment
• + Maintain and support
• conveyor systems and automated sortation equipment
• + Respond to equipment breakdowns and emergency maintenance situations + Perform
• preventative maintenance (PM)
• to reduce downtime + Read and interpret
• schematics, diagrams, and service manuals
• + Maintain spare parts inventory and support work order systems + Perform repairs on: + Motors, belts, and pulley systems + Hydraulic and pneumatic components + Sensors, relays, solenoids, and switches + Use diagnostic tools such as
• multi-meters
• and electronic testing equipment + Support installation and setup of industrial equipment as needed
• Qualifications
• + 1-3 years of experience in
• industrial maintenance or manufacturing
• + Experience troubleshooting
• electro-mechanical systems
• + Ability to read and interpret
• blueprints and schematics
• + Familiarity with
• conveyors, sortation systems, or automated equipment
• + Basic knowledge of
• PLC systems (preferred)
• + Comfortable working in a
• fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• + Basic computer skills (Windows-based systems)
• Physical Requirements
• + Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs + Ability to work around machinery and in an industrial environment

• + Industrial production facility + Exposure to moving machinery and mechanical equipment + PPE required as applicable
