POSITION SUMMARY
The Manufacturing Technician is responsible and accountable for performing to the specified standards of performance and established methods for which the person has been trained and certified to perform. The technician must comply with company safety, work, and QMS rules, policies, procedures and instructions. This role functionally includes manufacturing and shipping/ receiving and requires full participation, when requested in process/ continuous improvement, problem solving and training activities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Perform work to specified standards of performance and established methods
  • Use (ERP) software tools
  • Use SPC tools and techniques
  • Comply with all safety, work, and QMS rules, policies, procedures and instructions
  • Participate in process/ continuous improvement, problem solving, troubleshooting and training activities as well as other meetings as directed by supervisor
  • Assist in other functional areas as directed
  • Report any safety issues to supervisor immediately
  • Report quality problems to supervisor immediately
  • Willfully provide improvement ideas to supervisor
REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS
  • High school diploma or equivalent. Vocational training and/or community college degree preferred.
  • One to three years of industrial manufacturing experience in relevant areas (machine operations and material handling).
  • Must be able to visually inspect material(s) for determined defects
Pay:
$22.00 - $24.00 per hour
