Job Description

About the Role We are seeking motivated individuals to join our production team as a Manufacturing Assembly Technician. In this role, you will contribute to the creation of high-quality transportation equipment by operating specialized tools and assembling key components, playing a direct part in our commitment to excellence and safety. Responsibilities Utilize pneumatic and electric power tools, including riveters, impact wrenches, and grinders, to construct durable assemblies. Assemble and install various components using materials such as steel, aluminum, and composites to meet production targets. Manage material flow to your workstation using overhead cranes, forklifts, and manual carts to ensure continuous workflow. Perform rigorous quality inspections on finished assemblies to ensure adherence to technical specifications and safety standards. Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workspace to support operational efficiency. Identify opportunities for process improvements to reduce waste and optimize material usage. Required Skills Proficiency in using a wide range of pneumatic and electric hand tools. Ability to accurately read and interpret measurements using a tape measure. Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to follow detailed verbal or written instructions. Capacity to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs and maneuvering large components. Commitment to maintaining a high state of alertness and strict adherence to safety protocols. Preferred Skills Previous experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or assembly environment. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical assembly issues. Experience operating heavy material handling equipment like forklifts or overhead cranes. A proactive mindset focused on production efficiency and cost-saving initiatives.
