Manufacturing Equip Maint Technician Job Purpose:

Performs electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment used in the manufacturing process.

Nature of Duties:

Troubleshoots, adjusts, repairs and assembles equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches or drawings. Use test and diagnostic equipment to perform diagnostics. Rebuilds/Service manufacturing equipment as required. May perform equipment modifications as directed by Manufacturing Engineers. Identify spare parts, tools or materials needed to maintain equipment. Perform Regular Preventative Maintenance.

Education and Experience :

2 year Technical Degree. 2 - 4 years minimum of SMT Machine Operation and Repair. Knowledge of Fuji equipment is plus. Knowledge of Automation with some knowledge of PLCs and its operation. Basic computer knowledge is required. Experience decreasing downtime and yields improvements. Sanmina is an Equal Opportunity Employer
